"Love in Action" EXPERIENCES

Last February, our sweet Katy was diagnosed with LCH at just 3 years and 6 months old. We discovered a soft spot on the left side of her head, just above her ear, measuring about 6 centimeters. What followed was a long and difficult year of chemotherapy, which she bravely completed in March.

It was a challenging year for Katy, filled with so many ups and downs and difficult mood swings. But through it all, she remained our strong little girl. Since finishing treatment, the soft spot has been slowly closing, and we are so grateful to see her healing little by little.

Today, Katy is 5 years old, and she is doing so much better. She is calmer, happier, and has become such a sweet
and loving little girl. She now has follow-up appointments every three months so her doctors can continue to
monitor her progress.

Looking back on everything she has been through, our hearts are filled with gratitude and pride. Katy has shown us just how strong and brave a little child can be. We are so thankful for every step forward, every smile, and every day we get to watch our beautiful girl grow.
